What is Crin?

Crin otherwise known as Crinoline is a versatile stiffened Woven fabric used across Millinery and Haberdashery. Available in many different widths and colours, Crinoline is traditionally made from horsehair but nowadays more commonly Polyester.

Crinoline was never designed to be used for Millinery projects but within fashion houses for petticoats. The lightweight nature and ease of use makes this fabric ideal for Headwear.
