Should I Wear a Hat?
The age-old questions for the mother of the bride or groom is should I wear a hat? Many people have different views, but the ultimate answer is NO you are not required by some secret law to wear a hat.
Wearing a hat is a personal choice and can also be a daunting decision on how and what to choose that fits with that environment.

Normally for a full church wedding a hat is more often worn then not from an etiquette point of view but for example a beach wedding you probably would not.
However, you will not attend many weddings as the mother of the bride/groom so why not embrace it. Hats help bring an outfit together and also adds a touch of elegance, but remember hats and fascinators come in all shapes and sizes and there is a hat out there to suit everyone.

Go with a design and size that you are comfortable with a make sure the piece you choose compliments your outfit.
