Cheltenham Races 2021

First run in 1839 The Grand National held at the Aintree racecourse in Liverpool has been an event highly anticipated every year. The Grand National is a steeplechase with an official distance of about four miles with horses and jockeys jumping 30 fences over two laps.

As we are so used to over the last year it was an event not attended by many, so we did not see the headwear that we are all so used to seeing, but as it does yearly it came with some great surprises and this year was no different. The Jokey Rachel Blackmore and horse Minella Times won the grand national, the first female Jockey to win the big race.

As a very well televised event and with so many watching it was a still an incredibly special moment and one which you will not forget. Within a year of differences and one that will go down in history this was one well deserved reason to grab a glass of bubbly at home!

We look forward to seeing all the amazing millinery designs and helping all our race going ladies find perfect headpieces for ladies’ day and #FabulousFriday in 2022
